An easier way to fill out government forms
The project
Government forms are long, easy to get wrong, and usually come as a PDF you have to print and fill in by hand, or wrestle with in a PDF editor. GovForms turns them into plain, guided questions.
As you answer, a live preview shows your information landing on the official form, in the right boxes and the right format. When you're done, you download a PDF built on the form's own template, ready to print, sign and submit.
Privacy & your data
Your information never leaves your device. GovForms has no server that receives your answers. Everything, including making the PDF, happens on your device.
What's saved, and where
Only in this browser's storage, on this device. It isn't synced anywhere, and private or incognito windows forget it when closed.
- Form drafts
- Your answers to each form, saved as you type so you can come back later.
- Reusable details
- Basic details like your name and birthday, kept when you download a form so the next one fills in faster. Pick "Forget" after a download, or delete everything below.
What we count
To see what's working and which forms to add, we keep a few anonymous numbers. None of them include your form answers.
- How many people visit and download each form, counted anonymously, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you
- Searches that don't match any form, so we know what to add next
- Whatever you type into a feedback or "request a form" box, and your email only if you give it
What we never do
- Send your answers, drafts or PDFs to a server
- Ask you to create an account or sign in
- Use advertising or tracking cookies
- Sell or share your information
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and which pages were requested). Those logs never contain anything you type into a form.
Delete your saved data
Removes every draft and saved detail in this browser. PDFs you've already downloaded aren't affected.
